Safety
Safety is a hot topic in the construction industry, fuelled by reports that an average of one worker dies every week on construction sites in Australia. The goal of Beam’s work in this area is to make a meaningful contribution to the continuing debate on whether fatalities and serious injuries can be eliminated from the construction process. Beam’s first major publication talks about safety strategy in the Australian construction industry, and is due to be published in July 2011.
